The painting depcits an ambivalent action. We don't know wether the motion we are seeing is that of a woman taking off or closing her jacket. The moment reduced to a point turns the discussion mute, the answer therefore being individual to the viewer. Red women are a reappearing image of mine, a symbol of an indipendent, confident woman with passion and rage. In this case she seems to have won the Mr. Universe content. In the back a flamingo shaped boat floats in the water. All of the iamgery is playing with overcoming stereotypes.
